My Thoughts On AI

My perception of todays world.

There are three types of developers when it comes to AI in development. First, there are people who just vibecode without even knowing anything about the code. Second, there are people who refuse to use AI and just ignore everything about this topic. And third, there are people in the middle who use AI when it is applicable, and code by their own when it is necessary. I am more of a third type of people.

However, I don't think that any of these types are bad or great. There is no correct or wrong sides and I will explain why.

This is not the first time.

People always faced something that could possibly replace them, something that did the job faster than ordinary humans. And that something is AI in todays world. There were people who were working with 1's and 0's. Then the assembly appeared to make it more or less readable. After that we had programming languages, compilers, etc.

As you can see people always had something that changed the way they work. And AI is the same thing. Even though we have a lot of abstractions, there are still people who work with assembly, compilers, 1's and 0's. And here comes the advice that I tell everyone who asks me about AI:

Don't worry about it. At the end of the day you should enjoy what you do.

So if you like to vibecode and ship as fast as you can, just do it! As long as it brings the joy. If you don't like AI and you just want to write code by yourself, then just do it!
