AI is just another tool

Before AI, the world of developers experienced a lot of innovations and they always adapted to those changes. Even though we have python, javascript, etc. There are still people who are interested in compilations, low level languages, Assembly. I am sure that when high level languages were getting their hype, a lot of people said to them that they will be replaced. And no. They did not get replaced. New languages, new tools just create new positions, new jobs, new problems and solutions. And I think AI is just another tool that eventually people will get adapted to.

Programming was never about the code

There are still people who think that the code is the most important thing in programming. They think that they get hired for their ability to write code. But it was never that way. Programming was always about problem solving. It was about your critical thinking. How you think, decide, solve. AI is not replacing programmers who know this. AI is just another tool that can help developers to transfer their solutions, ideas into the code.

That is pretty much it. Just remember that people don't care how beautiful your code or which programming language you are using. They care about the quality of the product. Your job is to keep the product high-quality and scalable.
